Chinese Hat Marquees
Chinese Hat tents are small with an Oriental-style pointed high roof.
Key features
- Frame structures: Like other frame tents, Chinese hat marquees are flexible. They can have walls, no walls or transparent walls. They can be installed on grass or hard surfaces.
- Robust: As solid frame structures, they are designed for typical UK weather conditions and are fully waterproof when properly installed. They can be used year-round, but due to their size, they’re not usually used as fully enclosed heated spaces on their own.
- Size: 3m x 3m (10′ x 10′) or 6m x 6m (20′ x 20′).
- Capacity: for a seated event, they can seat 16 (3m) or 35 (6m). For a standing event, the equivalent figures are 30 and 60.
- Many names: sometimes called Pagoda tents, or Witch’s Hats
