Wedding Marquees
County Marquees has been helping couples celebrate weddings under beautiful marquees for more than 30 years. From cosy garden gatherings to big countryside parties, we will make sure that your marquee functions just as it should for your big day.
Why a Marquee Wedding?
A marquee gives you freedom. You can choose your own setting, layout, and look, your own venue for one special day — and we’ll help you bring it all together.
- You can celebrate anywhere – a garden, a field, or a stately home
- You’re in control of the style, lighting, and layout. In a marquee, anything is possible: long, square; L-shaped; romantic, classical, themed; a formal sit down, classy cocktails, Ibiza rave…
- Suitable for small or large guest lists (50 to 500+)
There’s a lot to think about, but we have the experience to make it easy for you.
Marquees and More
We have a range of marquee styles to suit different settings and budgets.
Clearspan or Frame Marquees
Bright, modern, and open with no interior poles – perfect if you want lots of space and clear views. Can be transparent.
Traditional Pole Marquees
Classic style with beautiful swooping lines and wooden poles – ideal for a timeless English-garden feel.
Stretch Tents
A bit more relaxed – great for festival-style weddings or outdoor celebrations.
Furniture and Equipment
We also offer a large range of fashionable furniture, decor items, lighting, generators, heaters and so on so you can personalise your space.

Questions about wedding marquees
Unfortunately, a legally binding wedding cannot take place in a marquee unless it is in a licensed venue. But there are quite a lot of licensed venues around the South East. See venues and filter for civil ceremonies.
Yes. Marquees can be divided into different areas for different parts of an event, for example a reception space, a dining space and a dancing space.
Different areas can be hidden from each other with a reveal screen, or they can be given different decorative treatments – setting clear roof panels alongside white or black roof panels for example. Marquees can also be set alongside each other to hive off food stations, for example, or food preparation.
Yes. Our clearspan frame structures are sturdy and recommended for winter events. They have been tried and tested over County Marquees’ many years of experience, and against the worst the English winter can throw at them. They can be plenty warm enough with heaters. Hard flooring is also recommended.
The one time we would advise against winter marquee weddings is if your venue is prone to flooding in heavy rain.
