Party Marquees

For more than 30 years, County Marquees has helped countless customers celebrate special occasions of all kinds. We think our our attention to detail, friendly approach, and meticulous organization will underpin a successful event, no matter whether you are creating a teen disco, Venetian Palazzos or an elegant garden party.

What sort of party do you want?

A marquee is often compared to a blank canvas to paint on. The comparison is accurate. Would you like a classic look for your party, perhaps with a vintage theme? Or funky and colourful? Maybe white and airy? All styles can be easily implemented in a party tent – though some more elaborate looks may hurt your pocket!

Our marquees are white and we provide ivory and black-out linings. Their aluminium frames make it easy to hang items from the walls or roof — for example lanterns, draped fabric and flower baskets. Combined with lighting effects, almost any look is possible.

Party Marquee Questions

Marquee lighting and music don’t require much power and can usually be run off a house socket. But you may need a generator if the wiring in your house or site is old or unreliable.

For most private events, no planning permission is needed if a marquee is up for less than 28 days. The exceptions are in listed buildings, for commercial events and – maybe – in conservation areas.

A timely warning to neighbours may be a good idea though.
