County Marquees is an independent, family run company which for over 30 years has been supplying marquees throughout East and West Sussex.

Why County Marquees?

We supply several different types of tents: flexible frame structures, romantic traditional style poled marquees for rustic weddings, stretch tents and pagoda style Chinese Hat marquees. Our range of marquees enable us to accommodate narrow gardens with uneven surfaces and intrusive shrubbery as well as the fabled well manicured front lawn.
Sussex marquees – with some of the finest views in England – can really take advantage of clear marquees and clear panoramic windows.
We also stock a good range of furniture, lighting and larger equipment.
We offer free site visits across East and West Sussex where an experienced member of staff will measure up and discuss how to turn your ideas into the reality of space, numbers and budgets.

How big?

A quick rule of thumb:

For a buffet event you will need a minimum of 0.8 square metres (8 square feet) per person
For a seated event you will need a minimum of 1.4 square metres (15 square feet) per person
Then you will need to add on space for extras like dance floors, bars, reception areas and so on

How much?

This is a rough guide to help you plan. The lower price at each level is for a bare marquee plus installation and takedown; the higher price also includes extras like matting, lighting and lining.
