Clear Marquee by the Sea

The interior of Matilda and Jake’s clear wedding tent was light, bright and airy thanks to the almost totally transparent walls and roof looking out onto the open seaside setting. Decor was simple – cross back chairs, rustic tables, little vases of simple flowers – because who needs more when the views are that good?

The marquee did feature a fashionable wooden circular bar. Fortuitously, there was a tree in just the right spot for the bar to encircle.

The reason the marquee was only almost totally clear with one white wall was to keep things private from the village behind and to protect against some of the midday sun. (Clear marquees can overheat on summer days which is something to bear in mind).
