Great service from County Marquees!

County Marquees made a site visit to advise us on how to make our event great. The advice about the marquee size is important when looking at the indoor and outdoor space available in association with the number of guests. We received the right advice. Delighted with the chosen marquee size.

Then there were the “extras”. The cynic in me said that this was a great opportunity for County Marquees to upsell! I asked about the suggested additional options… The extra cost of £450 was 7% of the total party costs and the marquee with transformed by the black lining, night sky in the marquee ceiling along with the black and white dance floor, heating and up-lights.

Do not be a stinge, take the recommendations made by County Marquees for a successful event. What does success look like? Guests all dancing, smiling and having a good time. Heater working, lighting working, audio working, delicious food and of course plenty of quality beverages. Thank you County Marquees.

A huge thank you to you and the team. The party was a huge success with everyone loving the marquee, its situation, lights… And heating! Tom and the team did a great job putting it up.

This was the second time we have used County Marquees for a wedding reception in our garden. We were really pleased with how the whole event went. The team who put the marquee up – Tom & co. – were very efficient, friendly and great guys. Shaun was always very patient with us changing things as we went along, right up to 2 days before the event when we decided that we ought to have a covered walkway from the house due to the weather forecast. Afterwards, the breakdown was fast and the garden was left in a good condition.

We would like to thank everyone for their contribution to helping the event go off smoothly, and look forward to using County Marquees again in the future – maybe another wedding?

As always we can’t praise the efficiency and charm of your team enough, or your own service once the whole thing kicked in. The mid-event transformation was seamless and although we had a friend just making sure that everything meshed, she said she really wasn’t needed as far as the marquee side of things was concerned and also spoke highly of the guys (and she’s a production manager on major productions at Elstree so has scarily high standards!). All the very best for the rest of the long hot season.

We received incredible comments on the marquee structure and have passed on our recommendations. The height of the rear marquee with a clear aspect overlooking the garden created such an open feel and allowed the entire terrace to feel very spacious. The side path was also very well covered and it felt like the house had been wrapped round and extended by 50%. The linings, carpet and lighting too were very well done and it was warm and comfortable throughout.

The marquee and the walkway from the house were a huge success and gave the evening a real party feel. We had so many delighted comments, in particular with the walkway, your guys had put up fairy lights along the walkway and it looked rather magical. I still can’t get over how such a tiny garden could accommodate a marquee and that when we were all inside it, it seemed much bigger, it had the Tardis effect.

Not sure where to start with this but here goes. As you may have sensed I was extremely concerned with the hiring of the marquee for my son’s wedding, and after meeting with six or seven different companies I very nearly got it wrong and was going for a cheaper quote who were asking for a huge deposit. But after checking their trading background realised this was not the sort of thing you should try to do on the cheap.

So we decided on using yourselves. Thankfully I couldn’t have been more right, from your guys turning up even earlier than expected on the day and helping me take down a fence before starting due to very heavy rain the night before and access being limited.

On the day Martin was so polite and helpful and and the rest of the team were equally friendly and extremely hardworking. The marquee was erected without complaints and nothing was to much trouble.

As a builder who works for some very discerning customers, the attention to detail was excellent, and thanks to you David who turned up on the day of erection to check all was ok and even spent time cleaning the outside of the marquee.

Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to all the guys involved. When I returned from work this evening the place was left spotless.

The size and shape worked perfectly with the furniture and we were blessed with a warm sunny afternoon which had everyone basking by the Georgian windows. We had a total of 42 + 4 babies/toddlers and the combined space worked perfectly for the numbers. It was absolutely the right solution and I know we will come back to you for any marquee hire requirements in the future.

Everything that you organised for me was perfect, everyone loved the marquee and I decorated it with daffodils from Cornwall and 18 lots of 3 pale and dark yellow and cream balloons.
