How big?
A quick rule of thumb:
- For a buffet event you will need a minimum of 0.8 square metres (8 square feet) per person
- For a seated event you will need a minimum of 1.4 square metres (15 square feet) per person
- Then you will need to add on space for extras like dance floors, bars, reception areas and so on
How much?
This is a rough guide to help you plan. The lower price at each level is for a bare marquee plus installation and takedown; the higher price also includes extras like matting, lighting and lining.
