Party Tent in the Garden

The occasion was a fiftieth birthday party in the clients garden, a typically long but quite narrow garden in North London. Our solution was a 12m (40′) x 24m (80′) frame marquee. Wires strung across the roof created a structure to hang decorative branches and leaves.

Inside, the marquee was surprisingly roomy

Frame marquees need little extra space around them, allowing tents like this one to fit neatly into this gardens.

Inside, the marquee was surprisingly roomy – there was even room for a small chill-out area in one corner of the tent.

For decoration, we strung wires across the roof of the marquee. The client – a keen gardener – found and attached leaves and a few party items to the roof.

The resulting style was simple, bright very pretty, just the right vibe for a summer party in the garden.

And at night… Well, the partying went on until well after the moon reached its highest point.

That’s the beauty of a garden marquee. As long as your neighbours are agreeable, you can party until whenever you feel like it.
